Vet and Partner
Colm qualified from Dublin in 1989. After working in Lanarkshire, Fife, Newcastle and Essex, Colm finally settled in Tain in 1996.
Colm takes an interest in all aspects of the practice, but is particularly keen on small animal medicine and surgery. Colm is also registered on the RCVS Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice.
Katy qualified from Glasgow in 2006. Her first job was with us before moving to Banffshire. After a number of years she moved back to the area, operating her own mobile surgery in Wester Ross and Sutherland.
She rejoined the practice in October 2011. Katy has a keen interest in all aspects of small animal practice particularly surgery.
Head Vet Nurse
Vicky joined the practice as a school girl in 1999. She subsequently stayed with us after leaving school, becoming a trainee nurse.
She qualified in 2003. Vicky is very keen on all aspects of veterinary nursing and is responsible for running the nursing side of the practice.
Jodie joined the practice in 2007 as a trainee nurse. After she qualified in 2010 she stayed on in the practice.
She enjoys riding and socialising in her free time. Jodie is currently studying for a certificate in advanced feline nursing.
Sheila is the longest serving member of staff at the Practice, joining in 1993. Sheila is responsible for the day to day running of the practice office.
She grew up on a farm on the outskirts of Tain and still helps at lambing and calving times. She lives with her partner Jim in Tain.
Sheila enjoys gardening, socialising and is an active member of the Tain Garrick Singers.
Rose joined the Practice in Tain in 1996. She runs the branch surgery in Invergordon and is well acquainted with all our clients.
Rose enjoys listening to music and long hours walking with “Norman”.
